The Link-It Club

The Link-It Club is a small, friendly Slack community that helps make LinkedIn understandable, enjoyable, and productive - without letting it take over your life. It’s a free space to learn, share, and get a gentle nudge when you need it most.

The LinkedIn support you need

There are more than 42 million UK users on LinkedIn, yet less than 3% of people post at least once a month. The Link-It Club exists to change that - giving you the encouragement, confidence, and clarity to show up on LinkedIn in a way that feels right for you.

Why join The Link-It Club?

Most of us lurk. We scroll, we think ‘I should post something,’ and then we don’t.

Or we see someone and think ‘I should connect with them,’ and then don’t. It’s the same with commenting and messaging.

Then we end up just scrolling, and scrolling, without actually doing anything productive.

That’s where The Link-It Club comes in.

It’s your LinkedIn safe space – a relaxed, supportive place to:

  • Grow your confidence and get comfortable being visible
  • Learn simple, practical ways to use LinkedIn effectively
  • Share your wins (and your wobbles) with people who get it
  • Get accountability, encouragement, and ideas from me and others in the group

I’m in the group daily – sharing little tips, answering questions, and supporting you based on everything I’ve learned over 10+ years managing social media, building my own business, and helping hundreds of people do the same.

“I’ve always understood the value of LinkedIn but didn’t always have the time or clarity on how best to use it strategically. Ryan has helped me cut through the noise with practical, no-nonsense advice that actually works. His insights have made me think differently about how I show up, engage, and add value on the platform. More than that, the club itself has been a great space for learning and mutual support. If you’re looking to make LinkedIn work for you, Ryan’s approach is the real deal.”

“Ryan’s approach is just spot on. The perfect blend of support and nudging when needed. Really great hints and tips, and insight into how LinkedIn really works – I’ve been using it for years but have learnt so much thanks to Ryan’s knowledge and help. I’ve also loved having the mutual support from other members. It’s a win-win from me!”

"Ryan has restored my faith in the complex and often bizarre world of Linkedin. Grappling with the concepts, sections, headings, posts and connections is no simple task, and it is all too easy to pop 'doing Linkedin' on the too difficult pile. But, for so many of us, that's just not feasible any more. So where to start? Well, Ryan's done all the heavy lifting, he can give you a plan and he makes everything clear, simple and effective, always with a smile and a very positive attitude. He'll get you up and running quickly and help wherever he can. Put simply, he's brilliant!"

“Before joining Ryan’s Link-It Club, I was a LinkedIn lurker - watching from the sidelines but rarely posting. Now, thanks to his practical advice and supportive coaching, I feel I’m becoming a LinkedIn leader, sharing content with confidence. Ryan’s tips are actionable, insightful, and genuinely make a difference. I’d highly recommend this to any founders, freelancers, or business owners looking to make LinkedIn work for them!”

“Ryan's group has been an absolutely game-changer in terms of our LinkedIn strategy. Having the weekly advice from an expert has been invaluable, and we were so clearly able to identify how to improve! It’s also a really friendly group too, with genuine connections being made. We now feel we have the momentum to really kick on in the world of LinkedIn."

“I’m so thankful for the support and strategic guidance Ryan has provided, not only in what and how to post but also how to actually be social and network too! In January (the first month working with Ryan), which is supposedly a quiet month, I received three enquiries from business owners wanting to work with me. It’s no coincidence that it’s the month I have been most active! Thank you so much.”

"Ryan's Link-It Club has been a real eye-opener for me. Previously I was trying to be active on LinkedIn; it's so important if you're running your own business. But often I would be stuck for content ideas, and then you just end up lurking or liking. Ryan has provided helpful regular prompts to get me thinking carefully about what could usefully become a post. Allied with practical and concrete tips. All with a keen eye on how I want to position and present myself, with contacts and (hopefully) potential clients. It's 'yes' from me!"

FAQ: The Link-It Club

If you’re thinking about joining The Link-It Club, here are a few of the questions people often ask before jumping in.

Apply to join the club
It’s hosted in a private Slack group. You can join via desktop or mobile.

I manage group numbers so it doesn't become over-crowded. It's a small private community of good people, and it'll stay that way.

Nothing – it’s completely free to join.

Freelancers, small business owners, self-employed folk, and anyone who wants to show up more confidently on LinkedIn.

You’ll get out what you put in - but even spending 10 minutes a day can make a big difference.

Just the basics. You don’t need to be a pro – you just need to be curious, open, and ready to learn.

Why I set The Link-It Club up

Rewind to 11th October 2023… I was made redundant with a young family at home.

But because I’d spent the previous 18 months showing up on LinkedIn – sharing ideas, connecting with people, building my reputation – I was able to turn redundancy into opportunity.

Within three months, my diary was full, and my little business was born.

Now, I want to support others to do the same – to use LinkedIn before they need it, and create opportunities on their own terms.

The Link-It Club is your place to do just that, with support, community, and practical advice that actually works.

If you’re interested in joining the little community, send me a message and let’s chat.
