LinkedIn workshops

Perfect for B2B organisations, my training workshops will activate your employees on LinkedIn to make your business stand out, create relationships and grow.

LinkedIn is people-first

Scroll through 10 posts on LinkedIn and you’ll probably see six posts from people, three ads and, maybe, one company page post. So you need to invest in your employees’ LinkedIn presence to stand out from your competitors and create new opportunities. And I can help you with that.

Do I need a LinkedIn employee workshop?

If your business isn’t using social media effectively now and in years to come, it’ll quickly fall behind those who are. And they will be the businesses that your current and future customers think of first.

When it comes to using LinkedIn effectively as a business, you need to consider the people within your business. That’s because LinkedIn favours content from people. And, more importantly, people favour content from people.

If you have people on your payroll, they’re golden marketing touch points for your business. If you give those people the knowledge, confidence and tools for them to be active, to create and publish content, and to grow their networks and build relationships, that’ll have a positive impact on your overall business performance.

My workshops – which can be held in-person or online – will give your employees exactly that. It’ll result in more eyeballs on your business, more conversations with your business and about your business, and therefore, more opportunities created.

These workshops are for you if:

  • You have people within your business
  • LinkedIn is a priority for you and your business
  • You know the importance of social media within the marketing mix
  • The people within your business want to learn more and be active on LinkedIn
  • Your business can see the value in activating employees on LinkedIn and growing together
  • You have a budget of at least £800 to invest in LinkedIn training workshops

"I would recommend him to anyone”

“Ryan delivered a bespoke LinkedIn workshop for our corporate comms and charity teams. It was clear how much time and effort Ryan had put in to make the session unique for us, rather than an off-the-shelf product. This made it so much more valuable and insightful, and there are now plenty of ideas and suggestions for the team to make our LinkedIn content even better. I would recommend him to anyone.”

Book a discovery call

1. Discovery call

We’ll start with a discovery call to chat about your business, the story so far, and your social media set-up.

Then we’ll get stuck into the future – what you want to achieve, who you need to speak to, and how you see your employees and LinkedIn helping with that.

2. Workshop proposal

Every single one of my workshops are bespoke to you and your business – none of this off-the-shelf stuff.

Depending on where you want to get to and the knowledge and tools you want your employees to take away, I’ll propose either a single workshop or a series of workshops.

And we’ll agree to the delivery of those at this stage – the contents, the price, the format, the timeline.

3. Workshop delivery

I’ll deliver exactly what I promise to deliver – whether that’s a standalone ‘10 steps to success on LinkedIn’ workshop, or a three-part ‘Profile, Posting and Socialising’ workshop series.

All of my workshops will give your people the knowledge, confidence, tools, processes and inspiration to make their LinkedIn a success, and support the growth of your business.

4. The follow-up

I’ll follow up the workshop(s) with any takeaway resources, and then check back in with you and your team a month down the line to see how you’re getting on.

Then the ball’s in your court. If things are going well, carry on as you are – lovely stuff. If you need further support, or want to move onto a new group of employees, I’d love to continue to work with you.

Whether we carry on working together or not, I’ll be following your company’s progress every step of the way.

You’re investing in the professional development of your employees - and that’ll positively impact both the person and the business.

Your employees and your business will become a familiar name in the minds of more people.

Your employees and your business will be perceived positively by more of the right people - new and existing customers.

Your business will create and strengthen new and existing relationships with people and organisations.

Whether it's new customers or new hires - the social media activity of your employees will support the opening of doors to new conversations and, ultimately, positively impact business performance.

Employee advocacy training for businesses

If you’ve read this far, chances are you’re seriously considering investing in your employees’ social media activity.

And in my humble opinion, you’d be right to do so.

I’ve seen first-hand how effective it can be. Employee advocacy is something I worked on for two years while I was social media manager for law firm Shoosmiths.

As part of the programme at Shoosmiths, I trained 300+ members of staff on how to use LinkedIn effectively through more than 50 separate workshops, presentations and drop-ins.

The result saw the firm reach seventh in the world for the most active legal professionals on LinkedIn, with 21.1% of the entire company posting every month (industry average: 11%).

That contributed to the firm achieving a 118% increase in followers on its LinkedIn company page, and recording 1.5m organic impressions (views) on its content per year.

Bigger picture: That’s more eyeballs on the business, more conversations with the business and about the business, and therefore, more opportunities created.

My role with Shoosmiths was one of several roles I’ve held in social media over the last decade. But I started Social with Ryan to offer social media management, consultancy and training services that don’t come with the risk and burden of hiring a new member of staff.

I provide a personalised approach; I’m not an agency, nor do I want to be. I work directly with people like you, in a seamless relationship, plugging into your existing set-up to give you your very own social media training resource.

And I’ll do all I can to make you and your business a success on socials. I truly believe employee advocacy is part of that success, but it’s still a largely untapped area for many businesses. So get ahead of your competitors and book a workshop with me.
